Origin of Their Name:The lead singer was watching the Simpsons one day, in which, Homer went bowling. And he was eating dinner, which just happen to be soup and bread. When the record company called him to tell him that the critics liked the music and asked for the band's name. So, without thinking, he said the first thing that popped into his head, Bowling for Soup.
